RE/MAX PANACHE LAUNCHES ON YOU TUBERE/MAX Panache is excited to announce the launch of its own ‘You Tube' Channel (www.youtube.com/remaxpanache) where they will be uploading video clips of properties onto the website property listing page. This will allow buyers to get a really good feel for the property in a way that photos simply can't match. Says Grant Gavin, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Panache: "Now its time to maximize how we use the internet and the property industry is set for some exciting changes in this regard. Viewing property on-line is going to become more and more of a ‘real' experience and the biggest vehicle in this regard is going to be You Tube." You Tube (www.youtube.com) is now the second largest search engine on the internet after Google and is made up entirely of video clips submitted by its users. "How do you visually capture, with one photo, that amazing sea view, the fabulous outdoor entertainment area with rim-flow pool, or the well designed open-plan kitchen and dining room area?" asks Gavin. "Well, up until now you would have had to have bought either an incredible camera, or perhaps some great software to combine the photos. However, now with a normal digital camera we can take a one-minute video clip and upload it onto our website. It's a great new feature and, given the reduced costs of internet bandwidth for the consumer, it is something that we're extremely excited about, especially considering what it means for our customers online experience." Apart from listing properties for sale, the RE/MAX Panache You Tube channel will also feature educational clips for buyers and sellers. RE/MAX has some outstanding informational clips for sellers, for example, advising them on how to select a real estate agent and the ever-important topic of pricing their property correctly. Says Adrian Goslett, CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa: "RE/MAX of Southern Africa has consistently been ahead of the game when it comes to harnessing technology for the benefit of our agents and our clients. It is innovations such as this from our Broker/Owners that continue to ensure we lead the way in this regard." Gavin thanks the well known South African Internet Service Provider who recently released its cut-price, un-capped internet bandwidth solution to the South African market. "Not only will competitors follow suit, but finally, South Africans can now start using the internet as it was intended. The days of avoiding websites that feature video clips or declining a download for fear of your monthly bandwidth costs being pushed up are gone." Watch out for the phenomenal growth of Social Media Networking through websites such as Facebook and Twitter, all of which are set to explode in terms of the way South African businesses communicate with their clients. "Your property searching experience is about to be taken to a new level, and the best thing is that we can invest in this technology with the safe knowledge that at long last, the consumer is going to be able to use it without fear of breaking the bank," Gavin concludes.
